Does the typical bloke stay on the plain of a child or is there a certain age?

Obviously depends on the individual and their circumstances/life experience, but for me personally, I'd say over the last year or so I have started to feel more 'adult'. Therefore I'd say between the age of 21-25. However, in saying that, I'm pretty sure when I was like 18/19 I thought the same thing lol, but looking back I know that not to be true!

Physically I think late teens to early 20s, mentally it depends on lifestyle, responsibilities, attitude etc

Yeah agree with others it's not really something you generalise about, people are different

A lot of guys have this daft macho thing about daughters and how they'll be sweet and innocent and need protecting and wrapped in cotton wool. My best friend had a boy first, then a girl... when she was on the way he was full of these pearls of wisdom about how it would be. At this point of course I already had 2 girls and my eldest was 8. I laughed & laughed.
Went to his daughter's 1st birthday party a couple of months back, she's already got him in his place. ![]() He also got to experience my now-10-year-old in full "Billy Eilish mode" which has dispelled some illusions about parenting a girl. ![]() |

Is it, a son is a son till he gets him a wife, but a daughter's a daughter all of her life?
