We used to have a skeleton staff in the office to man the phones, and our boss used to just come to the pub with anyone who wanted to watch it, then he'd give the phone monkeys the equivalent time off when they wanted to take it. Worked really well, especially when you consider that clients were also watching it, so unless there was an emergency, nothing was happening anyway.

Yeah, we would normally do something similar but we are on skeleton staff because of covid so only me physically in the office today so I'm getting an early dart at 4 but will pick up calls. Can't see anything happening to be honest - have cleared all calls etc so barring an emergency I should be pretty undisturbed
