Wagner digging himself out of a massive hole was pretty funny, it was quite obvious he said it because he said "I didn't know he was a journalist" then hesitated and came out with a load of BS about how great she is

And about not doing it on the TV- this is X Factor we're on about, I can guarantee Cheryl was told to pull him up about it because apparently she doesn't read the papers so how else would she know? Also, the story was leaked THIS MORNING most likely with the hope people would tune in to see Cheryl v Wagner tonight and they delivered

Because I don't have an irrational vendetta against Cheryl like most people on here seem to.

WHy the hell would anyone have a vendetta? I have never mae a bad comment about Cheryl, but I just called it like I saw it. ANd its a combination of other events, where she showed that exact character trait. And this just put it over the edge, with the Simon thing, and the Wagner thing tonight.

She is a vindictive person. Thats all there is to it. Even if Wagner did say it, there was no need to bring it up onstage. But again, she is mean spirited, by nature.

People do have a vendetta against Cheryl, have you not read all of the posts on here about her when she does the slightest thing? And you're even displaying it yourself, when one of Simon's acts gets criticised first, he ALWAYS finds faults in that judges acts and compares it to the initial criticism and noone cares. Cheryl did that yet she gets flamed for it.

What are these other events you speak of?

And you're still buying that the Wagner thing wasn't at least semi-set up at least on Cheryl's part. If it was Dannii that it was said to, everyone would be saying how wrong Wagner is because the sun obviously shines out of Miss Minogues backside.

The tone and context is key. We're lead to believe it was said in a degrading way but Wagner is trying to say he said it in a positive way. Otherwise that applies to most other people in showbiz.

Until Wagner did that I was considering voting for him.. but when he backed down he lost everything he gained IMO.. If he said it he should stand by it.

Most of Wagners fans are people who hate the show or don't take it seriously, if Wagner didn't back down and climb back up Cheryls arse I think he would have gone very very far but I can see him being out pretty soon now. He's backed down on the Cheryl thing so will lose support that way, whilst he's probably turned Cheryl's fans against him. I'll be shocked if he isn't in the bottom 2 this week or next week

I agree.. If he hadn't backed down, everyone who dislikes Cheryl would start voting for him and surely that'd be a really big fan base!! but as it is, he backed down so she won the argument really

Why is it anyone who makes a negative post on cheryl immediately has a vendetta...its funny really. Nothing negative is ever allowed to be said about little miss perfect

Oh, I don't have a vendetta either...cheryl is not important enough in my life to warrant a vendetta...just kinda called it as I saw it. And seems pretty much the same as how most people in my facebook saw it too :/

I don't agree.. if he hurt her feelings she's got every right to defend herself on tele or wherever.
