yea, it woulda been so much better to just let Ghaddafi kill thousands of his own people, most of whom just wanted democracy, and weren't islamic militants.

Supporting democracy doesn't mean you support everything that those groups believe. This is a Muslim problem all across the arab world, not just about the arab spring. Remebber the koran burning? remember the muhammed cartoons? This has nothing to do with the Libyan revolution or the arab spring. This is about Muslims everywhere thinking that violence is an appropriate response to free speech and free art.

And what about Rebel atrocities, what about the 300 bodies found in the mass grave by Sirte, what about all the black migrants in Libya shot or arrested for being "mercenaries" with no proof. Plus there's the fact the Rebels were completely fragmented, we had no idea about the nature of the opposition and since Gaddafi's death Libya has been in chaos with competing militias roaming around refusing to give up their weapons

Plus everyone talked about the threat if Gaddafi bombing Benghazi, well what the hell did NATO do to Sirte?

can you provide a before picture? how do we know it didn't look like that for the past 50 years? These conflicts have been going on for centuries, since before the UNited states was even a country. we're not even 240 years old you know.

That Muslims seem to think that some idiot making a film in his basement, or drawing a cartoon is more offensive to God than MURDERING people. That's what i'm saying, and that's a huge problem.

This isn't just a few nut jobs, these are crowds of thousands of people all around the muslim world. So no one can use the excuse "well it's not all muslims, it's just a tiny minority" those crowds were not just a few Muslim nut jobs, they were huge masses of Muslims. And this isn't an isolated incident, it happens over and over and over again whenever they get "offended".

It's insanity and it's a very serious problem within the Muslim culture.

If everytime the Christians in the US and western Europe rose up and behaved like this any time something offensive about Christians was said, can you imagine it? i can't, because it's so ridiculous.

Why is it only Muslims that react this way? It must be something cultural, and it's not okay.

It doesn't matter if its 1 muslim or 1,000 muslims you can't just blame the whole entire religion. I literally know like 50 muslims who are ashamed by the actions of the extremist. My sep father is muslim he works as a journalist for the bbc so I don't really think he is against freedom of speech .
