MTVN, I commend you on this thread. People need to realize, less than 5% of muslim, are belligerent, and would act violently, because they feel offended, or disrespected. Most will be offended, but shrug it off. The people that caused, know that there are that small percentage which will use it as an excuse to excercise their belligerent ways.

Why would you provoke these people at a time of unrest like right now? You putting innocent bystandards, in danger.
Its not about freedom of sppeech! I think you should always think of the impact, on others, not just you.
Anyone that does these kind of provocation, know exactly the impact, and are probably relishing in the chaos. Not outraged by the innocents, who got killed.

5% out of millions is A LOT of people though.

it is absolutely about freedom of speech. You don't have the right or the excuse to kill someone just because they say something offensive! No one should have to be afraid of being killed just for their speech or their ideas.

You should judge people based on what they DO, not what they say or think.

Speech and thought should never be illegal, no matter how offensive. and it's NEVER justified to take VIOLENT actions based on being offended.
