You know, if this guy had started shooting kids from that school, there would be uproar that the Police didn't act sooner and more forcibly. You have comments like why didn't the Police shoot him, he was taunting them outside a school while carrying a gun

Exactly. Whether the man was known to cops is irrelevant when he is carrying a gun right next to a school. It was the school who called the cops. Given Americas history of school shootings I'd say this was a very dangerous situation.

I have pointed out time and time again what they need to do. 1) employ a better standard of person 2) Have some kind of consistency 3) Be accountable when there are fatalities etc. I've stated it many times.
