I get that, but where is the line? If it's only direct insults that's fine but then you have the problem of assumed insult e.g.

"I think that UKIP is essentially a xenophobic party and many UKIP members are racist."

"But I support UKIP so you are calling me a racist! Waaah!" *report*

Or

"I think that after the 2010 elections, believing a word of the Lib Dem manifesto would be incredibly naive... "

"I am voting Lib Dem how darest thee call me naive?? I have three degrees in astuteness! I'm going to report your face into the ****ing pavement you scum sucking waste of electoral roll space!"


... Well, you see my point. I might have gotten a little carried away there.

Maybe Niamh should just create her cage as a sticky thread at the top of the forum, and then as soon as threads start to kick off, the involved members get locked into that one thread until it's over? I reckon that would actually be possible with creative usergroup permissions, it could be hilarious .
