in a social group of any kind, if one member behaves so extremely as to affect all the others in a negative way, that person will become ostracised. they used to banish people, onceuponatime with bear, if he's ignored it's at his own demand and cuts off the oxygen his behaviour needs to be able to have the effect he desires it to have. since there are only a couple of weeks left, and he has his playmates, it doesn't constitute being victimised and he knows this as much as the next person.

i'd have gone and found his cigarettes and ''accidentally'' tripped up and dropped them into the pool. oops, silly me....

Either an enabling crew or the knowledge he can cause reactions which show others in a negative light. Showing no reaction to his infantile pranks changes everything eventually. The pranks in isolation with no reaction would become tumbleweed moments. I don't think the others will totally manage it and I doubt Renee will but without any reaction, he is a very tedious man child.
