Just because I haven't personally had disagreements with Dezzy, it doesn't invalidate anything I was saying in that post, or mean that the only opinions that matter on the subject are the ones that are anti-Dezzy.

Have you reported the posts where you feel he was baiting? If so and nothing was done then wouldn't it actually be the case that it's either the other mods who weren't doing their job correctly, or Dezzy wasn't in fact baiting.

Maybe the way forward and so there is no conflict of interest if a mod is heavily involved in a discussion, another mod needs to moderate the thread, I think this might have been suggested earlier but it seems a way around the issue

I don't what that situation or post was about but for the most part it's clear that posts he disagrees with don't get deleted... a lot of SD wouldn't exist otherwise I think as long as everything is visible to the other mods (so the stuff we don't see like deleted posts etc) then doesn't that take away the need for that suggestion? Because everything can be checked and people can report if they feel there's been foul play. It's not that it's a bad suggestion, I just don't know if there's always enough mods online to ensure it would always happen.
