Doubt what though? It's true that we don't see what the mods do... only they see it. And member/mod status is separated, by very definition, when they're posting in threads they are doing so as a member, and if they make posts that people think are breaking the rules they can be reported and those reports are seen by the other mods, and when they give out infractions etc they're doing so as a mod and can be monitored and made accountable by other mods. Like I said before it's an unpaid job so I think it's unfair to have any expectations of them beyond that or to expect that someone who gains mod status should no longer feel like they can't post as they normally would as a member.

But even so, that doesn't mean that that person isn't doing a good job as a mod which is the accusation that's being made, it just means that they don't like that person or the way they speak to them, that has no bearing on their capabilities as a mod. And if someone feels they've broken rules because of how they've spoken to them then they can be reported to the other mods.
