I didn't say that the guy wasn't white ... He was, I lived in Ayrshire (Scotland) at the time and it's basically all white. In fact it's so heavily white Protestant that even catholics are "rare". Or at least it was back then (approx. 15 years ago), I don't know what it's like these days, I don't live there now because it's a ****ing horrible place. But yeah, it was a white guy probably in his 30's, smacked off his tits and kept telling me that he had "just stabbed his brother".

That i can put up with, but the chances of a woman being raped late at night being raised to "seriously in danger" in certain areas of the uk is something that should never happen.

It's the exact same mentality though... It's all acts of violence committed by violent people who lack empathy for their victims. Granted, not every mugger is capable of sexual assault, but they're a fair bit more likely to be. And obviously it should never happen, but the horrible truth is, violent people will always exist, that risk will always be there, because human beings aren't so far divided from animals as we would like to believe. All we can really do is try to make it "safer"... It'll never be "safe".
