Not to head over to the dark side on this one, but as has been pointed out... This is more about the specific area, and especially the area plus time of night, than what percentage of men overall would attack someone like this.
Basically, the majority of people who are likely to be wandering around a rough area after say 10pm are going to be bad news.
I've stupidly wandered through a very bad area drunk at 1am, ONCE in my life. I've also had a knife pulled on me once in my life. Same night. It's not a coincidence... It's just a fact that in certain places, at certain times, you are at a much higher risk of attack. Not just x% more risk... But actually a jump from "miniscule risk" to "in serious danger".
