Panel interviews, I am fine one to one but once I am being interviewed/tested by a panel of more than 2 people I get very edgy and nervous.

I think just breaking from the status quo makes me feel that way, like the thought of going to Uni makes me a nervous just because I'm pretty comfortable with living my life the way I am now and with the friends I have now, feels weird I'll have to start all that again although I am looking forward to it at the same time

[taking thread seriously]

Large inanimate objects. I had/have recurring nightmares about zeppelins and I'm not really sure why. I must have seen footage of the Hindenberg when I was young or something, because I just associate them with explosions and (oddly) nuclear ones in particular. So when I noticed this massive white ball floating over the hill I practically cacked my pants, until I realised it was some massive hot air balloon.

The ocean, too. Even in silly scenarios, like computer games, I'd always switch them off if there was a glitch and Mario just fell into some vast expanse, or the ocean...it's just because it's so dark and home to so many freaky things. Oh and you can drown, that doesn't help.

Yeah, I'm the same with the ocean.. It's strange as I've always felt I would like to live somewhere where I can hear the ocean at night, but I find it a very scary thing.. I love swimming but will avoid the sea at all costs!

Big Brother Evictions;

LOL In all seriousness - I get nervous and freak out in any social situation, I get really shy and come across as awkward and I find it hard to make conversation with most people - that's because of me having Aspergers though.

The only people I'm able to talk to properly would be TiBBers actually, then again that isn't real life.

I can understand where you are coming from there in the sense that it gives you real people you can get to know 24/7 that you form opinions about. Whenever I watch BB I constantly think about what I would say to someone or how I would act in the house if I was in such and such a situation. It's the one thing Big Brother's a revolution in moreso than any book or film. Just getting to know every little nuance about an ordinary person.

Re : Shyness : I used to be really like that. I think it's something a lot of people grow out of eventually to the point where now I am completely incapable of understanding it. People are by and large lovely. They are just like you and they won't bite if you talk to them. Communication and contact with other people is a great thing.

I think it's booze. Once shy people hit that age where they start drinking it really opens up a door because nobody is shy when they drink. It's impossible.

i know im not the age to drink but in the past i have massively, one of my downfalls really. i have long back story to my conditions and drink is what put me into part of my mess that got me addicted to bb. im not going to bore anyone with the details because i dont want to share my life story nor look as if im asking for sympathy but yea ive been down that road but didnt go about it the right way.

I don't like people touching me ...unless I want them to

Also not great with first impressions, public speaking, karaoke and talking online. I'd rather be sat opposite someone (unless I dislike them)

Stu how do you know which direction your brain is?
Is there a test for it?

Well you could Google 'are you left or right brained' I guess and find some decent tests but as always with tests are certain amount of generalization is to be found. We are not one or the other anyway, just swaying heavily to one side.

When you're in the tube sitting on the seat near the door and a group of hot guys, especially foreign walk in. Hot boys make me nervous.

Why? Does it make you visibly wet?

Oh so many things. Heres a list:
-Dentists.
-Heights.
-Speaking in front of large groups of people.
-Bugs that can fly e.g bees, wasps.
-Roller coasters (when I'm in the queue for one).
-Standing in the middle of my bedroom with no lights on, I always think something is gonna jump out and grab me. :'(
-Talking to people on the phone.
-Shouting.

I agree with almost everything Niall said.

Things that can fly, definietly - Moths are my biggest phobia of all time.

LOL at the line one, it's true though. I always end up thinking 'Should I run out of the line or stay! WTF!' and then by the time I decide what to do it's my turn to get on

Talking on the phone is so cringey, especially when you have to say Hello to someone - when in real life you talk to them like sh*t.

OMG Your one about standing in your room with no lights reminds me of something else;
Like at night when I'm taking a piss or going to watch TV at like 3 in the morning, I always prepare myself for Ghost Face to bounce out from the door ways and shove a knife down my throat.

Driving, I don't think I could ever do it.

Also the thought of being abducted makes me anxious.

And crowds.
