POA easily the best film. Closely followed by the first two and DH-P1.
GOF, OOTP and HBP are horrible movies. But OOTP is one kf my fave books. |

Hands off my Brick!

I haven't read the books but my favourite film was The prisoner of Azkaban. Order of the Phoenix was my least favourite

I'd say the films for the first couple were much better than the books, which is rare. It has to be Goblet of Fire though... both book and film.

I used to have them all on DVD, but I lent them to a mate of mines daughter a couple of years ago, and haven't seen them since.
It's at times like the upcoming Bank holiday weekend that you miss them most. I like a bank holiday weekend film binge. |

No time to miss them, they've joined the very limited itv movie collection. They're shown more often than not.

Surprised by the love for GOF. I thought it was a terrible film.

The maze was better in the film (and I way prefer the book) the concept of the mae making them lose their sanity was more effective than the random spiders etc. The lake and dragon were done perfectly too

Why So Serious?
|
I've read only the first 4 books a long time ago. I can't remember which one I preferred.
For films, if I had to rank them from most to least fav: 1. Goblet of Fire 2. Chamber of Secrets 3. Deathly Hallows Part 2 4. Prisoner of Azkaban 5. Deathly Hallows part 1 6. Half Blood Prince 7. Order of the Phoenix 8. Philosophers Stone I've seen half of them at the cinemas too

Harris.
Gambon was far too angry, the exact opposite of the character. |

Gambon still did a fantastic job and was a good replacement. Last edited by Tony Montana; 16-04-2019 at 02:18 PM. |

He did play the King's Cross sequence well though and I did enjoy him in PoA as he played it more with a bit of a twinkle in his eye. Last edited by Marsh.; 16-04-2019 at 04:04 PM. |
