I am not doubting for one moment the producers tried to persuade him to stay. However, Perez has left out the bit where they reminded him he would forfeit his fee if he walked.

No doubt Perez demanded then to speak to his lawyer.... who no doubt confirmed that BB was within their rights to not pay him a penny.

I believe Perez and the reason Rylan asked the question was because Rylan didn't actually know that a producer had conviced Perez to stay. The producer who said it to Perez didn't expect Perez to mention that he had been asked to stay etc and certainly wasn't going to mention it to anyone else as it would have been too much of a risk (for his job), in the same way that they didn't reckon Perez would spill the beans on them (a doctor) giving him sleeping pills. Perez has (had) no reason to lie and that is one of the things I have liked about him throughout this series.

Once again Perez proves he lacks any accountability for his actions. It's obvious that he realizes how much of an a$$ he was as he is in full damage control mode and playing the "blame" game. He blames everyone else and refuses to apologize for his reprehensible actions/words.

But Perez DIDN'T WALK.

He CHOSE to stay.

And i agree - it was proabably the money that swung it for him in the end.

Some choose to walk and forfeit their money.

But - PEREZ CHOSE TO STAY.

Unless a HM is ejected: they have the final say on the matter.

He did choose to stay, but its what the producers did in order to make him stay. The secret room and avoiding nomination were all hurriedly put in to place without a public or house mates vote at the point where perez was seen to be wanting to walk. That is sacrificing the shows integrity for one housemate.

I just made my point because Perez seemed to make out on BOTS like he was 'forced to stay' and had no choice in the matter, which is of course rubbish.

Lets be honest though the exact same thing happened with Speidi so its not as if this is a new thing.

Their series they were obviously told how popular they were, they were put into a secret room and made immune from eviction and also that same series Rylan left on many occasions for X Factor rehersals.
