It would have looked waaaaaaaaay more suspicious if Rylan had instantly shut him down. He let him talk a little bit but told him not to name names, but you could see how awkward Rylan looked. He may not have known about it himself.

I was well pissed off that they booted Ken for far less than Perez has subsequently done.... sad to see Alex go but he would have ended up in custody for decking Perez if he hadn't so I don't really blame him!
