Welcome back.

Have you tried (full-spectrum) CBD for your pain?

The thing with CBD is that there are so many counterfeit/fake brands sold these days so you have to be careful what you buy if you actually need it to work.

@Vicky: you ever heard of My Indica Beauty? I feel like it’s one of the few reputable places you can get real CBD off the web. and they have different strengths available. If someone like you’s more suited to 1500-milligram capsules of the stuff the 200 mg stuff that’s often sold in shops definitely wouldn’t have done much (assuming it was even CBD).

Is it something you’d be interested in starting it again or do you feel like you’ve already devoted a lot of time and money into it as it is?

I did but it didnt work tbh but I may have bought fake stuff. Never tried it again since discovering my..bandaid that I am using now. Will stick to this for pain really, and just hope docs find the bloody problem and fix it. Am functioning a lot better than I thought I would mind. It helps a lot that between doses of children, I get the break when they are at school for downtime, or sleeptime if I am exhausted from pain. Since this pain started I worried that I would never be any good for them on my own. Was another part of the reason I stayed in my marriage for so long when I knew I didnt love him anymore and hadnt for ages. Harsh as that sounds.

No idea what it is. It doesnt seem to fit with fibro symptoms though as I dont feel general exhaustion, the exhaustion is just from being in pain so much(and subsequent acting fine, so people dont see how much pain there is)? And its not all my joints or anything its one specific area always. Has consultants quite baffled as all my blood works has showed inflammation since it started, yet scans show **** all. Its odd for sure. But I do have a coping mechanism for it now so try not to dwell on it too much really, and just hope they cure it at some stage!

Welcome back Vicky.

It's always good to see members return rather than leaving like what's been happening recently.

Kinda feel I would go back to try it IF my current crutch started failing, however it seems a waste at the moment when everythings so..controlled? If that makes sense. Happy to continue as I am really until (and hopefully it doesnt happen, the thought fills me with dread now, going back to CONSTANT pain) my way becomes less effective.

I swear I have proper odd social anxiety issues now though that I never really had before. Not sure if its the lack of depression or what but my brain seems broken sometimes. As an example, I just did the school run to pick the kids up right..and for about 10 minutes I was walking behind this couple. I suddenly started thinking they would think I was stalking them as it had gone on so long so..went to cross over the road to be on opposite side instead. BUT they went to cross seconds later so it still looked like I was following them So after a brief feeling of utter horror, I stopped in the middle of the path to write a message on my phone to give them enough time to get a suitable distance ahead?! Its so weird as I know its silly as I am doing it but my brain wont cooperate with me.

Immediately following this there was some guy walking really slow infront of me with a walking stick. I needed to pass him really but felt he may be offended if I stormed past but then thought he might feel like I was trying to hurry him by walking slowly behind him. So it was no win

As I said, before **** like that wouldnt even cross my mind(it MAY be that I just didnt care about anything in general before? IDK its all odd and new). And am not sure if its 'normal' or..some sign of issues! Or both.

Maybe you’re in the process of switching from under-sensitive to your external environment to a bit more hyper-sensitive?

It’s honestly pretty normal for people’s personalities to alter somewhat at different stages in life so that might be it (some people start their lives very sociable and outgoing but become more reclusive and introverted as the years go on, not that there’s anything wrong with being an introvert either way, and sometimes the opposite happens). I’d say it only becomes problematic when it’s actually distressing or causing you day-to-day problems that can’t be ignored and I don’t think things are anywhere near that bad for you.

P.S.: might anxiety be a side-effect of your medication?

isn't the american way ... going to the movies and british the pictures .... cause the american way is slightly more modern as it comes from "moving pictures"
