microsoft is becoming extra cautious now i notice, again this morning it asked me to check my account, and the accounts were ok

maybe it is doing some updates itself over at their headquarters, more protection than ever given the recent twitter hacking incident

i like having microsoft, google accounts


however i am pretty safe anyway online, given i got Norton Lifelock which has extra safety features, also SafeWeb which checks every website when i visit if it is indeed safe or not, and also 2 adblockers (just in case if one fails i still have another)

also i looked up, while those accounts have its security risks like everything on internet

what you must have to prevent being hacked

Wired internet is safer, more control, increased security

while Wifi/Wireless you are more in the whole public hub, so more security risks, and with wireless you need to be careful not to have too little security, given that makes you easy target for being hacked


reading all of this, makes me even more glad i decided to stick with wired internet

my dad on the other hand, doesn't trust microsoft lmao

i mean then he also shouldn't trust the ''microsoft'' updates you get automatically


but anyway i never use those microsoft, google accounts, just have them for sole purpose of other things

microsoft one for Office build into Edge, older edge still what i use, i do not trust Chredge and i do not need it, from what i see not much difference from what i got right now so kinda unnecessary

google account i have, for login access to my YouTube account

but i never do any payments so i don't care if any information is seen by them, they can see i am not interesting


i understand my dad since on his computer downstairs lots of payments being done, doesn't want all that data being seen, understandable i guess

btw you can have those accounts in a safe way sure, but never put anything in the cloud (onedrive) they can see all what is in there

so it is never safe to put documents, images, videos, bank account files in there


do what i do, buy your own external harddrive and then you still have everything stored, but no one can see it except you

NOT 91 degrees without aircon!!!!!

It was between 90-100 earlier this week / I think last week too in NJ but cooled down a lot in like the past two days to the 70-80's range, way more manageable. Only good thing about this quarantine summer is when I think about not being out in that summer heat anywhere near as much as I would be. WHEW!

yes, it was 38C in London near Heathrow yesterday



today it is like still very hot in house, so airco on to try and get all the heat out again


outside temp is gonna be like 28C here



next week my new tv mediabox of Ziggo, Mediabox next will arrive what i apparently need since old one will shut down due to no more software updates, and we get that one for free too as replacement, downstairs and my room

and also a free external internet modem for wired & wifi (wifi for smart tv's and tablet devices) and wired for laptops and downstairs computer

but yeah i am excited, curious about this new mediabox, they say (not just staff of Ziggo) mediabox next can have quality of 4k/Ultra HD for tv channels
