Netflix have today apparently announced that they will cutting traffic streaming by 25% immediately.. that doesn’t sound good given there’s gonna be a massive demand globally for Netflix and other media sites??

They're cutting the quality of the streaming to reduce data by 25% because there will be increased pressure on networks. It doesn't mean you won't be able to stream the exact same stuff, it'll just mean a slight reduction in picture quality at 1080p (I would imagine pretty much unnoticeable to the layperson) and I would imagine maybe limiting 4k shows to 1080p or maybe 1440p rather than full 4k.

Seriously though most people won't even notice that it's any different. I have a large 4k TV and while I *do* notice the difference when gaming, I can honestly say I can't see any difference at all between Sky @ 1080p and Netflix @ 4k . Maybe my eyes are crap.
