Most universities are pretty leniant with personal statements, especially now that the figures of people actually going to university are going down. Unless you're applying for a top university where the acceptance rate is quite low, you shouldn't worry too much about it being perfect.
Mine was a rambling mess, anyway. I can't even remember what I went on about.
