I think you might still be missing the point I'm trying to make.

I'm actually glad he didn't have second thoughts as I would much prefer to watch the fall out than the things you described in the second paragraph.

What I'm trying to say is that, if it creates conflict, it might not have been the best thing for Lewis to have done for himself (rather than the viewer) with an eviction looming.
