I believe your perception of Lewis is very true. It is yet another irony in his character.

She just comes across as cold to me. Unlike Zoe, who i think is the opposite : warm hearted and friendly.

This for me aswell , I feel you could have a good old laugh with Zoe, and act around a bit Sian would be too scared of breaking a nail.
