I said if someone's passive aggressive to me, I will respond in kind. If someone patronises me, I will do the same. If someone baits me, I'll bait them back. If someone tries to have a civilised discussion with me, I'll be civil too. I've said this so many times over the years, the large majority of the time on this forum I follow other people's lead, they dictate how the conversation is going to go

If people want to be passive aggressive or sarcastic or whatever I don't really care (it was Cherie who had the initial issue remember), I can do the same...but don't give out what you can't take

She wasn't passive aggressive in this thread towards you at all and that example you gave wasn't passive aggressive either

I never said she was passive aggressive to me in this thread, but I don't agree with that at all

I made a sarcastic comment based on the content on this thread (which I would've done regardless of who made it), Cherie was the one who took issue with that so I was merely pointing out (flippantly, might I add) that if she didn't like sarcasm she could cut out her own passive aggression

I don't actually care whether she was, makes no difference to me. My point was don't give out what you can't take

I agree that Jaxies comment was passive aggressive (sorry Jaxie ) but laughing at someones passive aggressive comment isn't passive aggressive itself. Cherie isn't obliged to engage in any arguments, I don't get why this would make her laughing at a comment passive aggressive

I would be more inclined to agree with you if she hadn't quoted my post, got a response and then ignored it and chose to laugh at mocking comments instead. That's not constructive, it's designed to irritate the person who is reading it

I've literally just said I couldn't care less (this is the key phrase here, so please pay attention to it) if people want to be passive aggressive, or sarcastic, or patronising...makes no difference to me. But don't give out what you can't take, and this entire discussion began when Cherie quoted me asking me to cut out the sarcasm
