This isn't incorrect but should be directed mainly at the people behind the scenes, not just the ones in front of the camera. Big Brother is one of the original reality formats, and still technically one of the purest and best formats, and could still be great if handled properly. It's been mismanaged into the ground, sadly.

Neither can hide who they love and hate, this is another reason they are so bad

I agree but Emma is far worse for this than Rylan, her interviews with people she dislikes are awful. And her interviews with people she clearly LIKES are also awful. The only ones that are passable are the ones she doesn't have a strong opinion either way on. Even when Rylan clearly dislikes people, he at least manages to ask some neutral questions and allow them to answer, Emma flat out glares at and talks over people .

That said, I honestly don't particularly rate Davina as an interviewer either, her own opinions clouded the C4 interviews too. She was however a much better host in general than Emma.

Yeah, tbh, as bad as Roxanne was (and she was despicable) Emma's interview with her was so embarrassing for Emma I felt.

It was like she perched herself on this pedestal that she felt everyone was going to love her for it, but it made her seem incredibly unprofessional.

Compare that to Davina who, whilst not the best interviewer in the world, remained professional in her interviews of a similar nature with Jade/Jo/Danielle/Jack during the race row.
