I honestly believe at least partially it is her being American.

Plenty have been adored with previous experience, look at the guy from The Wanted. He was a trained dancer, before that bad he was a dancer but he got support and Alesha Dixon was a previous winber who was a dancer.

Yeah but people loved her on IAC and she was American then too, I reckon if they didn't lash on the mommy sympathy for Charlie she would have won

I think IAC and Strictly have different audiences though. I don't know anyone my age eho watches apart from a few girls I still chat to I used to be in a dance troupe with.
