But even Arlene Philips said strictly would be limited if they made a rule to ban trained dancers as it would even affect actors / panto & theatre performers as they wouldn't be allowed to compete

It's impossible for the competition to just be full of dance Virgins , obviously if some have had more dancing experience than others it can be "unfair" , but its been happening on strictly for years . It's never going to be a level playing field .

Not really there's a difference to having done a bit of dancing, and being a fully trained/had a full dancing career.

The entire point of her role in the PCD was as a dancer.

Faye was also in a band aswell , and over the years there's been a few celebrities who have been in bands or been to stage school & dance classes prior .
