I think you could argue that Benji was (somewhat) planned, just not thought through. The rest were definitely more impulse kills, he even tried to declare Peach's death "self-defence". Though TBF Peach was clearly intended as the only-marginally-more-sane female counterpart to Joe and probably had some Beck underwear stashed somewhere too
