Like I said multiple times, it was the details that made it unbelievable:
- him being recognised in passing when wrapped up for warmth on a dark night
- that some would-be lynchers were roaming the streets when the temperature was like -20' with a handy noose
- swanky Chicago neighborhoods are one of the farthest things from "MAGA country"
- that his phone he was speaking on was not stolen and his Sub wasn't ruined
Like I've also repeated, if his story began and ended with him being punched/pushed and called the n-word, no-one would doubt it.
