First time I heard about it, or actually witnessed it was when a friend I knew decorated a blossom branch with little eggs etc, her mum was from Switzerland, don’t know if that had anything to do with it.
But all the big shops sell the trees or branches now, and the decorations.
Been wanting to do it for years but my kids are both grown ups now, so this is a good excuse for me to have a go this year.

No i don't all i've bought is a huge chocolate Bennett the Bunny for my daughter and thats it.

Having children around makes doing all the little touchs worthwhile though so i hope you and your family have a lovely Easter Smudgie.

..it all sounds lovely, smudgie...and you’ve loved doing it, it’s made you happy and that’s really what’s important...your granddaughter will absolutely love it, how could she not...have a lovely Easter....
