The difference between them is that Germany has owned its grubby past. I don't see anyone on TV spouting Nazi ideology. but Communist ideology is embraced for some reason. Why the Stalin flags at Labour meetings if it's a discredited and irrelevant ideology? And you know, Communism is alive and well in China, Laos, Vietnam...

It's not like anyone is claiming that the far right is good. Far from it. But this thread is about David Lammy… and instead of debate there is example after example of wrongdoing in the Tory party, as if one cancels out the other.
