32% of the vote is only meaningful if you fail to consider the fact that the rest of the vote is split across several parties. 32% of the vote means that
68% of the voters did NOT vote for the party offering Hard Brexit. Let
that sink in. You can't assume that Labour or Conservative voters are against Brexit, but you can safely assume that most of them are against HARD Brexit, and thus,
less than half of voters want a hard brexit. Meaning that it would be thoroughly undemocratic to deliver a hard Brexit.
I'd say we're no further forward really: We know that the UK voted for Brexit, we have a strong indication that people want Brexit WITH a deal and not without one, and we have a government that is failing miserably to deliver a working deal.
