Affairs are usually carried out in secret so your scenario doesnt really make sense of people being enpowered to do things in secret

Fact is, White supremacists like Trump and have said so on many occasions so its not too much o stretch given his rhetoric to see this on the rise. People, wisely or stupidly, sometimes trust and follow their leaders. It doesnt really matter that Donnies racist, what matters is that racists like him, alot.
