I've been listening to a lot of Joni Mitchell lately (I snapped up two of her albums "Blue" and "Ladies of the Canyon" for under a tenner from a local market - epic!) and she's the same thing as I said earlier - there's just something about her and that whole era. She doesn't have the greatest voice clearly, but she's just magnetic plus an incredible song writer to boot. Profoundly introspective and somewhat haunting lyrics and melodies in her songs. Up there with the other legends surely!



Reading back idk how that totally related to this thread but yeah.. Maybe the greatest voice doesn't always have to mean best "sounding"? Idk...
