I'd imagine there are lots of different ways to get Internet access in Germany.
A big problem if we had a nationalised monopoly is it doesn't give people a choice, so there is little incentive to improve the service.

So you're saying you don't want free full fibre broadband, you want normal or part fibre and pay £30+ pm for it?
