You can be either for or anti this, but it's not soviet style anything, and it isn't communism.

I don't see the Australians as communists, far from it. Maybe the failings there were analysed, identified and rectified by the shadow cabinet? Rather than listen to the reactionary squealing of the nay sayers I understand it is important to be in posession of the facts, therefore I'll wait for the manifesto to be able to give a reasoned response.

So Labour are going to grab back a company that Germany hold the most shares at a price they decide themselves, how is that possible?

Jolly good

Deutsche Telekom was privatised in 1995. The German government owns a small share of it, not controlling.
I'd imagine there are lots of different ways to get Internet access in Germany. A big problem if we had a nationalised monopoly is it doesn't give people a choice, so there is little incentive to improve the service. |

It’s just typical pie in the Sky nonsense from politicians !! There’s a few companies who’ve already said it will cost TEN times what Labour have predicted... whoever gets in power will need to spend money on things more important. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Untill the manifesto is published they don't know how it's going to be funded... Let's wait till next week, untill then I suggest people put the pitchforks down.

All these exceptions we make to help the tories give their mates preferential treatment, and yet labour want to improve the lives of ordinary everyday people, and suddenly folks turn into accountants. This double standard is why we can't have nice things.

The latest data shows that the number of new build homes that have started on site has surged to a decade high, with 164,960 new homes started in the year to June 2017. And with more than 153,000 new homes completed during the same period, housebuilding is going from strength to strength. Housebuilding is strong across the UK, with Gloucestershire, South Derbyshire and South Norfolk amongst the strongest areas in delivering high levels of starts. The figures show an increase of 13% from 2016, with new build homes increasing by more than three-quarters since 2009." https://www.ukconstructionmedia.co.u...housebuilding/ |

Does Jeremy Corbyn even have the internet?

I don't doubt that homes are being built in the UK but it's private companies building them.
