Well good luck on the age of consent being raised ! , For a long time the age of consent has been 16 and I can't see it budging . I've always found it too young aswell.

This is why people get annoyed as you can have sex at 16 , join the army and get married with parents permission yet you can't drink or vote . Seems like contradiction .

I saw a documentary about a girl marrying a man she knew when she was 11 and when she was 16 she married him and he was allegedly pushing 40 yet looked much older .
