Funny how Shaughna ‘suddenly’ liking Luke M....even her best buddy had no idea....reeks desperation to me. Mike got slaughtered for suddenly turning his attentions to Jess after Leanne dumped him even though he showed a liking for her when she first came in...

I also said it the other day difference is Shaughna hasn't done anything about it and it took her a week to be interested in someone, Mike took 5 seconds and acted on it straight away and done it infront of Leanne and Luke M on purpose. Listen...Mike got dumped...he didn’t dump Leanne. Once he got dumped he moved on to Jess who he said he liked the look of when she came into the villa. Leanne dumped him and he moved on to the Jess...I don’t see the problem. He was a bit full on but so what
On the other hand Shaughna has only had eyes for Callum...he dumped her. She showed no interest in anyone until she got excited about Jamie asking her on a date...no connection there. Then out of the blue she shows an interest in Luke M who has been messed around and becomes her only option to keep her in for the last week imo. Even Paige was shocked at this sudden interest...and she’s her best mate...it couldn’t be more obvious.
Mike moving on to Jess was less a shock to what Shaughna is doing...she has never shown an interest in Luke before tonight ...and this is based on the main show not what may have been shown on Aftersun.

We all know Mike got dumped but he moved on literally the same day, less than an hour and went to Jess his third choice btw then forgetting about Jess after a second. Shaughna isn't like Mike though she doesn't move on after seconds, she would be slated if she did. She was getting her head together. Have you ever thought she may be confused on her feelings because it's her first time being single in the villa? she hasn't even acted on it fgs, you need to get grip. All i got is Mike can be desperate and Shaughna can't even though she isn't being desperate. You are such a hypocrite...if Shaughna moved on quickly you would be the first to jump to her defence. She can do no wrong in your eyes. I like Mike but he hasn’t been perfect by any means...at least I can see faults when they are there.

I think there a bit of a difference here though. Mike was very shady in the way he was going about things. He came across as being very committed towards Leanne but then after she dumped him he was straight away trying it with Jess. Then when he was with Jess he did the same thing, telling her all these sweet things she’d want to hear but it was all bull$hit and was straight cracking onto people in Casa Amor.

With Shaughna, where she was with Callum for a fair bit of time in there and it’s now no more, I think she’s just in a stage of confusion at the moment. Whilst I can see that it may come across as a bit desperate because of the timing of everything (even still it’s more time she has left before getting to know someone compared to Mike), there maybe have been small hints that she’s been attracted to Luke M that we’ve probably been missing (like what Paige mentioned about the snog marry pie task).

He wanted Sophie before Jess, If you remember Mike telling Callum he's interested in Sophie and Jess(seconds after being dumped). Went to Sophie first but when she said brother he never tried so he went to Jess. that's what you call desperation

yeah it was especially doing it in front of people on purpose as well. As soon as he got to casa amor he forgot about Jess really quick. So there is a huge difference between the two.

Yeah I 100% agree it's not really desperation, now she's been single for a week and is trying to move on so she will get new feelings for people. Has not acted on it yet, we're not sure if she will because as you said she might be confused.

This is the difference for me. Shaughna has been in a couple since the beginning so it is a big adjustment living in the villa being single. On top of this is the whole thing that’s happened with Callum so I could imagine she’s been very overwhelmed and very confused by it all. I agree I think this last week has been very much her trying to get answers from Callum and trying to deal with it as well as these new feelings she potentially has for other guys. also she could have easily played it safe and fake her feelings for Jamie to secure her place but she isn't I think she's going through her options on what she should do and wants since all of this is new to her, give Jamie a chance to see where that goes or try with Luke M.
