If washing hands meant no viruses we would never get a cold it will help but only to a degree

we don't know how this will go, it's early days yet. The virus could mutate into a dozen more deadly strains for all we know. While washing your hands may reduce your chances of catching a virus, it's not the main issue. Someone sneezing in your proximity is a far more likely cause

I use hand sanitizers on my hands .And I use anti bacterial wipes on phones,tablets etc even before this coronavirus outbreak .

Yes good, i have a spray that i use on my mobile every morning as i do not like any marks on my screen

As I said already turning OCD will drive you mad , not everyone is going to keep wiping their phones etc . You just have to keep washing your hands, and try and reduce chances of catching germs etc.

People still get ill and still get food poisoning and bugs still get spread unfortunately .
