Just watching episode 8 now and it's made me think Joe is the worst of the worst, calling innocent, healthy animals over to a cage and shooting them just to free up space is pure evil. Hope he rots in jail.

I agree that the animals were horribly mistreated by all but I don't think Carole Baskin is much better - most of them on the reunion thing were pretty clear about it. Joe was awful and it was never about the animals, but they're all as bad as each other, some just better than others at acting like they care. I don't buy for a second that Carole Baskin gives a **** about tigers. The only ones who actually seem to are the ones being paid rock bottom wages to do the day-to-day care.

But I also don't particularly see Joe being thought of as a hero? He's seen as a joke... He's a living meme... It's nothing to do with him as a person. Yes if he was out he'd be lapping up the attention but he doesnt even get that... There's a sort of perfect irony in it, really. He got the fame and attention he always wanted, but now he's the one in a cage, unable to actually capitalise on it.

The story about the old lady bringing a horse to Joe and him promising to take care of it for her and then shooting it dead is horrific. Joe Exotic is a scumbag.

It's actually worth a watch, the host is so ****ing salty and some of the questions he asks...

you can tell it was made and thrown up on Netflix with virtually no oversight.

Yeah, and you could tell where it was going as soon as he started the story. Like "Aww ****, he fed it to the tigers didn't he". Literally just saw it as free tiger food

I do feel quite bad for Joshua Dial (the guy who saw Travis shoot himself right in front of him)... The guy has quite clear PTSD from it and has never gotten treatment.
