That doesn’t sound reasonable at all, the rules were to stay where you were, you weren’t allowed to relocate at all if you had symptoms, but even then, that’s not what happened.

His wife was ill, they drove up to Durham to apparently have childcare, what actually happened was they drove up to Durham, they took care of their child themselves anyway and his sister dropped shopping off for them, all of that could and should have been done in their home in London, seeing as his brother-in-law lives in London and his assistants live about 3 minutes away, whichever way they spin it, there was no actual need to do what they did
