Christ, had a look on facebook for a more non bias view point then twitter and even on there, they’re absolutely grilling Boris for his actions today. Never seen such a united agreement across the country! I guess Cummings has done one thing and brought the country back together in some forms
It’s only the alt-right twitter bots/trolls that are defending him

This Witch doesn't burn

It’s clear he went up there for the Easter break...he and his wife are probably not used to looking after their son all day everyday either so it suited them to have family to help

I can't imagine he'll be in the role by Friday, his position really is untenable and he'll either resign or be let go. I just hope it doesn't dominate the daily press briefings and PMQs.
lol just imagine having to tell your family your "key work" for the day involved blocking a road and blaring out a jumbotron of BoJo talking rubbish. |

So what are his other resources to care for his 4 year old son if he was struck down as well? |

As I have said before...maybe his/her sisters/brothers didn’t want to possibly take the risk in their own household. Maybe his parents were his only option. I don’t necessarily agree with what he did....I’m playing Devils Advocate here. The thing is tell us if this was the case then we can have a fairer debate. They haven’t explained why they didn’t use their siblings which tells me it’s a cover up. I hope he goes, I believe he should or give us a better explanation. |

He’s the PM’s top aide, he has assistants close by, he has family in London, I’m pretty sure the government would have put things in place for them, the fact of the matter is, nothing was done in Durham that couldn’t have been done in London, the trip was not a necessity

The guy is a hypocrite and a coward, he has no excuse for what he did that's why he's keeping shtum.
The rules he was privy to being made clearly stated DON'T travel if you have symptoms (this risks creating bubbles where there wouldn't ordinarily be, spreading the virus wider) And DON'T risk passing the virus to elderly people ( which he did by exposing them to his potentially asymptomatic child)...he did BOTH!

Two things can be true at once - politicians can be acting stupidly, and it can also be stupid to cluster outside someone's house.
