The only mistake he made yesterday was repeatedly mentioning the weird eyesight thingy .. he should have just mentioned it once along with all the other symptoms he’d suffered.

I think that due to a mixture of nerves and mental exhaustion he referred to the ‘weird eyesight’ over and over again probably when he was trying to justify an action he’d taken .... “ I was exhausted , under great pressure , my eyesight was weird ..”

The eyesight thing is just an annoyance now as he made it clear that both him and his wife were concerned about going him driving all the way home took the after being very ill over the previous week or so .. and they took the decision to drive 30 minutes to ‘the’ castle simply to gauge if his driving was up to scratch .
