It's not pointless, it is as you say petty however he can't be held to a different standard that's silly.

Nobody, especially the president should be engaging in puerile insults.
I don't agree it's a little thing... mocking those afflicted for me is a big thing, it shows a callous nature as well as a lack of empathy. Those two in leaders are massive deals.

To be fair (I can’t believe I’m saying this re Trump) the crowd may be applauding him drinking the water because there has been speculation in the media regarding his health and inability to drink without holding a glass with two hands.

Like what was proposed (or enacted? can't remember) over here, I think it's a good idea. I don't think anyone will or should face the full ten years, but having it be such a lawbreak can ensure people face at least some level of legal consequences for defacing statues and monuments.

Not sure how protecting monuments and statues to the confederacy, a group that committed treason, is going to help him in the election. He already has the toothless simpleton vote, so not sure who he is trying to impress.

Exactly, his flock. They're already voting for him and he's losing badly, so he needs to appeal to non-racists to try and win votes. He needs to go on offense, and he's playing defence.

Thats the point though - "his flock", who he's had under the thumb for years, support this... It's not going to win him any NEW followers, just raise a "woop!" from the voters he already has

You can't count out Trump just like you can't count out stupidity. My guess is that they'll just hit the Hunter Biden stuff and the allegations despite both arguments being hypocritical considering that Trump's children work as advisors in the White House and/or have benefitted financially from deals made with companies they have ties to as well as there being a long list of accusations against Trump of rape and sexual abuse.

People have a short attention span, as proven by the fact that Hillary was undone by Trump's constant barrage of email mentions despite all of Trump's scandals. I just can't see Biden beating Trump when Trump has been proven beyond the rules and standards that everyone else is held to. The game is rigged.

I think Donnie's finally realised he's losing. The rally in Tulsa on Saturday was a joke, the millions he bragged about turned out to be just a few thousand, he wasnt getting the kind of cheers he craves and he looked stupid trying to whip up the small crowd.

Mail in ballots are his new project. I expected this one. He's going to in some way claim the election was rigged if he loses. He did this in 2016 too, not sure what took him so long.

Even if Biden wins big I still think Trump will take some shifting from the oval office.

Oh and on top of that, eight of his staff tested positive for Corona virus. So the weekend rally was a disaster all round

I just have no faith in people tbh, these past few people have basically shown me that both the US and the UK voters are akin to farm animals voting for the Slaughterhouse. I just can't see Biden winning over Trump.

I feel quite bad for US voters on the fence, just like 2016, two terrible choices yet again.

1 terrible choice, and 1 disappointing choice aren't the same things.

Yesterday the riot mobs did not have the Strength
to bring down a Brass Statue
of Jackson.
The Police stopped them.

One is clearly worse than the other. Let's not engage in enlightened centrism and act like both sides are equally bad when they are clearly not.
