Yeah i guess, but after 4 years of unrest im sure a lot of Americans are looking for some sort of stability, Biden doesn't really offer that. Trump is just a gimmick though, him not being a politician helped him before (after how badly the US has been let down my previous leaders), that same gimmick wont help him now.

Biden basically offers a return to the status quo before the Trump administration. The one thing that Biden can probably offer is stability but at the cost of progress.

The best thing we can hope for is that Biden picks a great VP and that, if he wins, they'll end up taking over before long.

Do Americans want that? In 2016 there was a real attitude for change. Trump and Bernie both (allegedly) offered change, whereas Hillary offered same-old-same-old.

Bernie would definitely steamroll Trump if he'd got the nomination, but I'm not sure "Samantha and Cletus" have changed enough to want to "go back" to the same-old-same-old ...

"Samantha and Cletus" will blindly vote red no matter who the Republican nominee is; that's not really relevant.

As always, all that matters is the swing vote, and (hopefully) enough of those who voted "for some sort of change" with Trump are now thinking "Oh jesus ****ing christ not THIS sort of change!!" and a return to the status quo to then pursue actual positive change will be preferable to continuing with the new status quo of stupidity and chaos.

Not in the slightest, John Bolton admitted he made a mistake, admitted that after seeing how ridiculous Trump has been as President he wouldn't vote for him again. He was polite, not argumentative in the slightest, and was trying to answer questions put at him genuinely and explain his reasoning behind his voting, and how in hindsight he made a mistake. All Colbert did was mock him, undermined him, and didn't let him get his point across. Terrible attitude!

He made a mistake voting for Trump, he had to see with his own eyes what a joke Trump was/is, no need for Colbert to mock him and to discredit him from the outset.

Covered most in my previous post. I think Colbert should have let him speak more, shouldn't have been so judgemental and rude. The guy seem like an intelligent man who made a mistake, and he was admitting that mistake and his reasons for it. Colbert just laughed and mocked him. Can't see what that achieves?!

John Bolton refused to testify at Trumps impeachment because he had a $2million dollar book deal waiting for him to tell his story. He needs to be held to account.

He wasn't held accountable for anything in that interview, just mocked and laughed at.

It doesn't look good to the people who voted for Trump in 2016, and who now regret it (and im sure there are many, many who know they messed up).

Maybe we need to stop worrying about offending people that voted for the openly racist, credibly accused rapist, and started shaming them. Mockery has always been one of the strongest political weapons in the toolbox.

As Slim said, Bolton sacrificed integrity for a book deal and he's still pulling for Trump by saying he isn't voting for either candidate despite Colbert bringing up that Trump is a puppet of Putin.

Sorry I'm not prissy over the feelings of a duplicitous snake.

Now they all want him.

He is a bitter loser.

If you want the left to win then yeah you probably do need to stop telling these people how they're ****e for voting in a democracy. Because what the left are doing now isn't working.

I mean Trump isn't openly racist, probably is racist deep down, but not openly. And accused is the key word there. Many assholes would have voted for Trump, but many good Americans who wanted reasonable changes (that were promised to them) voted for Trump too. Now those good, law abiding, decent people would have reaslised they made a mistake, do you a) mock them, tell them they're awful etc or b) say yeah ok well it was an HONEST mistake, lets unite and get these changes we all want?
