I say that not as someone who particularly loves them still - but as a band reflecting that period of time, they are one of the most distinguishable. It's hard to remember the period of 1998-2005 without thinking of I Miss You, Man Overboard, The Rock Show, All the Small Things, What's My Age Again, Dammit, etc.
