Actually Memphis in general was one of my favourite parts of our trip, the live music in the bars was excellent plus we went to a basketball game which was brilliant, the atmosphere was something else

We started from New Orleans which was a cool place although we found the Main Street pretty tacky...went to Memphis then on to Chattanooga then to Atlanta. Great trip.

Ah I loved New Orleans, it is a bit seedy in places but I've never experienced anything like it for a party city. We were there on a Sunday and Monday night so weren't sure how busy it would be but the whole of Bourbon Street was jam packed still with stuff just going on everywhere, we were there a few days after Mardis Gras but half the city still seemed to be celebrating it lol

It was a bit seedy, we were there just before the presidential election and we got abused by some guy there telling us we were going to vote for Trump, he wasn't getting that we weren't actually american or voters we did meet a couple of lovely women one night though who kind of adopted us and brought us round to all the good bars

We also did Little Rock, Dallas, Austin, Houston in an RV and then flew to San Francisco

What did you think of Austin? That was the last leg of ours and I was a little disappointed by it although it was probably the place we saw the least of. We had a bit of a brutal 9 hour drive there from New Orleans so got there late on our first night and just had one more after that. We also had our worst accommodation there which didn't help

We had a really good time in the day going to this ramshackle shooting range just outside the city though
