Well Barcelona is my favourite city of all time for a start, love the architecture there and the fact that even though it's a city it has beaches. I've spent a lot of time in Catalonia in general over the years. Also I like that it's much greener in Northern Spain than it is in the South too

Catalonia does have a good mix of everything. My friend that live there even go up to the mountain to ski at the weekend.
