He'll never formally concede and will spend the next four years on Twitter (or wherever he's allowed) claiming the election was "stolen" from him, that Biden is a "fraudster" and that it needs to be overturned in 2024.

The thing is, this was actually a pretty good election for the Republicans. They've gained seats in the House and aren't likely to lose control of the Senate, and Trump has just won the second biggest popular vote total of any presidential candidate ever, higher turnout the reason or not. Trumpism is now, arguably, and rather worryingly, a serious political beast in the States, and the GOP will need to decide whether to return their party to...well...some kind of normality, or whether they embrace it wholeheartedly and allow his base to take over. Time will tell on that idea both parties need to seriously look inwards at themselves after this election, I worry neither will

Oh and he's not going to prison btw, come on. That idea is for the birds
