See, I find it hard to believe his self-revisionism that his comedy is to poke fun at western perceptions when he knows exactly who his target audience is
the average viewer of Borat isn't walking away thinking about the people that Borat is interacting with as much as they're thinking about Borats funny voice, anti-Semitic comments etc, because ultimately Borat is the centric character.Who is America definitely achieved what he was seemingly aiming for better IMO. |
