...we don’t know the complexities of families either and whether there was always a feeling of a failure to protect Meghan, the statement that was issued in the early days regarding racist comments and undertones etc and concern for just general unnecessarily negative articles/headlines/attention came from Harry himself I believe and not from the palace...why didn’t his family step in to protect Meghan as well may have been something that was part of any dynamics leading up to any decisions...anyway, we don’t know but ‘trailer trash’ has become very much a descriptive that has become representative of so much media, I feel...

But that did not stop The Sun from running pieces focusing on Markle’s “VERY un-royal family” and comparisons between Markle and Kate Middleton, Prince William’s wife which revolved around Markle’s background, race and past relationships.
